The short first premiered at Alamo Drafthouse screenings of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and a television debut on FXX soon after on May 27, 2022 The short was planned for a theatrical release in 2020 in front of an undetermined Disney film, but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic closing down movie theaters.
