Week 2 was a bit of a stumbling block for Skai and her pro partner Alan, but that just meant there was room to start making a comeback on Disney Night. Monica and pro partner Val Chmerkoviskiy were touched by the Disney Magic, showing more confidence as they brought the magic of “The Little Mermaid” to the ballroom and earned their highest score yet.

Justina and pro partner Sasha Farber tied for the top of the leaderboard in Week 2, and they were feeling it for their Disney Night Charleston. AJ embodied Prince Ali himself - and pro partner Cheryl Byrne was a beautiful Princess Jasmine! - for a Disney Night quickstep that was fun for the whole ballroom.

Chrishell and pro partner Gleb Savchenko closed out a night of Disney Magic with a lovely waltz as Cinderella and Prince Charming that enchanted the judges.

Nelly and pro partner Daniella Karagach has their first ballroom dance of the season with the foxtrot, and they continued to impress, but Carrie Ann is ready to see them take some risks. It was a samba for Simba as Carole and pro partner Pasha Pashkov danced to “Circle of Life” from Disney’s “The Lion King.”

Kaitlin was touch-and-go in Week 2 after she hurt her ankle during rehearsals, but she and pro partner Arten Chigvinstev still tied for the top of the leaderboard. Vernon may not have initially been excited to play a candlestick when his pro partner Peta Murgatoyd broke the news, but they sure did light up the dance floor together!

Vernon Davis and his new pro dance partner Peta Murgatroyd made their ballroom debut with a smooth and sizzling foxtrot that impressed the judges. Anne Heche was sure she got the best partner with Keo Motsepe, and it’s hard to argue with the results of their fun and flirty cha cha!

Host Jeannie Mai wanted to come out of the gate strong, so she made sure her pro partner Brandon Armstrong took her straight to the acrobatics for their season premiere salsa! The quickstep is a notoriously tricky dance, so actor Jesse Metcalfe and his partner, returning pro Sharna Burgess, had a tough debut.

Jesse and Sharna followed up an impressive Week 1 debut with a lovely Week 2 foxtrot that scored well despite dividing the judges a bit. Week 2 was another wild one for Jeannie and Brandon and their cha cha. While they of course wanted to impress the judges, they knew they had to make Jeannie’s mom proud.

Emotions ran high in the ballroom as Chrishell and Gleb danced their Week 2 rumba with passion and intensity. Charles and Emma may have been near the bottom of the leaderboard in Week 1, but they kept a winning, positive attitude and brought it to their Week 2 cha cha.
